SOA TV stands for Spirit of Africa Television. It represents a next-generation, 4K, ISP-grade streaming and distribution platform created to showcase and deliver original African content to audiences across the world. SOA TV offers a powerful ecosystem designed by Africans, for Africans, globally.

All content rights remain 100% with the original creators, producers, or rights holders. SOA TV does not own the content it distributes. We operate strictly as a distribution and delivery platform, providing the technology and reach needed to stream content globally. Creators simply grant SOA TV the limited rights required to host and deliver their content to audiences—nothing more.

SOA TV is designed around local delivery and local billing. Payments are processed in local currencies within each region where content is distributed, making access simple and affordable for viewers while ensuring creators and partners are paid fairly.

Through partnerships with IXPs, Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), ISPs, and MVNOs, SOA TV delivers content using zero-rated data, meaning supported content can be streamed or viewed offline without consuming users’ data bundles. Our technology coordinates billing and settlement across the full value-chain—network partners, content providers, and platform services—so every participant in the ecosystem is properly accounted for and compensated.

The result is a sustainable, transparent ecosystem that enables zero-data streaming, offline viewing, and seamless payments—built to scale across Africa and globally.

SOA TV is built with privacy by design. Your personal access, viewing history, and payment information are always kept secure and private. Each SOA account can host up to 5 separate guest profiles for close friends or family members, so everyone enjoys a personalized experience without sharing sensitive details.

The platform also supports dedicated kids’ and family watch profiles, with optional PIN protection to control access where needed. This ensures a safe, secure, and family-friendly viewing experience for every household member.

If you’re having trouble signing in, please check the following:

1. Correct credentials – Make sure you’re using the email/mobile number and password linked to your SOA account.
2. Network connection – A stable local service provider connection is required; try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data if needed.
3. App version – Ensure you’re running the latest version of the SOA TV app or accessing the latest SOA billing web portal.
4. Account status – Check your email or SMS for any messages from SOA TV regarding account verification or payment issues.

If the problem persists, use the “Forgot Password” feature to reset your password, or contact our support team with your account details. Our platform logs and monitors authentication events to help troubleshoot and restore access quickly.

Why does the user receive "ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED" when attempting zero-rated streaming?

1. Mobile data must be turned on to stream. While your SOA plan is active, streaming won't use your data bundle—but your device still needs an active internet connection.
2. Zero-rating does not bypass the requirement for an active mobile data session. The subscriber must have mobile data enabled and an established PDP/PDN session with the mobile network.
3. To access the zero-rated stream, your mobile data must be turned on. The service works over your mobile internet connection, but while your SOA plan is active, streaming will not deduct from your data bundle. If mobile data is turned off, your device cannot connect, and you'll see a "No Internet" message.

You can verify your data balance before and after streaming using your network's official USSD code:

• MTN – Dial *323# (or *131# in some regions)
• Airtel – Dial *323# or *140#
• Globacom – Dial *127*0#
• T2 Mobile – Dial *323#

Check your balance before streaming and again after streaming. If your SOA plan is active, your data balance should remain unchanged for zero-rated streaming traffic powered by our partner network.
